Combat Air Forces Agile Combat Support Conference
Combat Air Forces Agile Combat Support Conference 2011
1-3 March, 2011, Las Vegas, Nevada
Combat Air Force (CAF) Agile Combat Support (ACS) capabilities constitute the backbone of the Air Force’s Agile Combat Power construct. Today, ACS Professionals are executing missions ranging from humanitarian assistance to defeating ground attacks on our forward installations. The goal of the Combat Air Forces Agile Support Conference is to help ensure CAF home station and expeditionary operations are able to effectively support the Combatant Commanders’ mission requirement.
The CAF’s ACS capabilities are at an important crossroads — ever-increasing demand for ACS capabilities to support spiraling operations tempo is wearing out ACS systems and providing little opportunity to reset or modernize our capabilities — while force reductions are requiring our ACS professionals to provide more and more capability despite less capacity. One way to address these challenges is to provide the CAF’s ACS professionals with a better understanding of the technology available to improve their capabilities and ACS capability developers with a better understanding of mission need.
The 2011 CAF ACS Conference is the place to advance a common understanding. The purpose of this conference is to bring together ACS professionals, technology developers (government, industry and academia), and acquisition professionals to facilitate increased responsiveness to CAF ACS capability needs and gaps. This conference will also provide a forum for the exchange of information, ideas and methodologies to provide the CAF with improved ACS technologies and capabilities. Conference speakers will present a wide array of thought-provoking insights from diverse perspectives.
